Buses replace Route 57 and Route 82 trams

Reason for service change

Bridge works will occur on Maribyrnong Road and renewal works in Wests Road.

Service changes

• Route 57 trams run a shortened service between Flinders Street Station and Stop 39 Bowen St.
  Buses replace Route 57 trams between Stop 39 Bowen St and West Maribyrnong.
• Buses replace Route 82 trams between Footscray and Moonee Ponds, diverting around the work zone via Rosamond Road.

Replacement bus service

Stop 41 Maribyrnong Park, towards Moonee Ponds, will not be serviced by the replacement buses.

Tram replacement buses run to normal frequency during works, servicing existing tram stops and temporary bus stops, where possible. Follow the at stop signage for directions to the temporary bus stops.

Alternative travel options

• Craigieburn train line to and from the city.
• Route 472 between Footscray and Moonee Ponds, or Route 409 between Footscray and Highpoint Shopping Centre.

Accessibility

Tram replacement buses will be low floor.
