Services resuming

Route 48/75/78 trams have resumed following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Service Changes

Due to an equipment fault in Bridge Road at Church Street 

• Route 48 trams divert in both directions via Victoria Street between Stop 29 Barkers Road and Stop 8 Spring Street
• Route 75 trams divert in both directions via Swan Street Between Stop 29 Riversdale Junction and Stop 6 Russell Street
• No Route 78 trams run between Stop 50 Toorak Road and North Richmond

Alternative travel

• Route 70 trams
• Belgrave/Lilydale/Alamein and Glen Waverley line trains
• Bus 246 on Hoddle Street 
• A limited bus replacement service for Route 75 trams runs between Stop 11 Jolimont Station and Stop 39 Camberwell Depot.
• A limited bus replacement service for Route 78 trams runs between Stop 50 Toorak Road and North Richmond, servicing existing stops where possible; bus replacements may take up to 45 minutes.

This disruption is expected to take some time to clear. Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
