Tram service changes

When Swanston Street is affected

  • No Route 1 and Route 6 trams run between Stop 7 RMIT University and Stop 14 Arts Precinct.
  • No Route 3, 64 and 67 trams run between Stop 20 Anzac Station and Melbourne University. Trams divert from Stop 20 Anzac Station via Park Street, Kings Way and William Street to Stop 7 Flagstaff Station.
  • No Route 5, 16 and 72 trams run between the Stop 14 Arts Precinct and Melbourne University.

When La Trobe Street is affected

  • No Route 30 trams run. Use diverting Route 86a and Route 96a trams on La Trobe Street between Spencer Street and Melbourne Museum as an alternative.

When Bourke Street is affected

  • Route 86 trams divert via La Trobe Street between Stop D1 Docklands Stadium and Stop 11 Melbourne Museum.
  • Route 96 trams divert via La Trobe Street between Stop 122 Southern Cross Station and Stop 11 Melbourne Museum.
  • Limited shuttle services run as Route 86a between Stop 4 Queen St and Central Pier, Docklands.

When Collins Street is affected

  • No Route 11 trams run between Stop 12 St Vincent's Plaza and Victoria Harbour, Docklands. Trams divert from Stop 12 St Vincent's Plaza via La Trobe Street to Central Pier, Docklands. 
  • Route 12 and 109 trams divert via La Trobe Street between Stop 12 St Vincent's Plaza and Stop 124 Batman Park. 
  • No Route 48 trams run between Stop 5 Elizabeth St and Stop 7 101 Collins St.

When Flinders Street is affected

  • No Route 70 and 75 trams run between Stop 6 Russell St and Stop 4 Flinders Street Station.
