Disruption to City Trams - Saturday 17 January

Services resuming

Route 30, 35, 86 and 96 trams have resumed along their normal lines following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Reason for changes

Due to a rally in the city.

Tram service changes

Bourke Street 

• Route 86 trams divert via La Trobe Street between Stop D1 Docklands Stadium and Stop 11 Melbourne Museum.
• Route 96 trams divert via La Trobe Street between Stop 122 Southern Cross Station and Stop 11 Melbourne Museum.
• Limited shuttle services run as Route 86a between Central Pier, Docklands and Stop 7 Russell St.
• Expected impact to services: over 1 hour.

La Trobe Street

• No Route 30 trams run. Use diverting Route 86 and 96 trams on La Trobe Street between Spencer Street and Melbourne Museum as an alternative.
• Route 35 (City Circle) trams run between Docklands and Stop 4 Flinders St Station/Elizabeth Street via Harbor Esplanade and Flinders Street.

Alternative travel

• City Loop trains.
• Route 11, 12 or 109 trams on Collins Street.
• Bus services along Lonsdale Street.
