Reason for service changes

Due to road closures on Sydney Road associated with the Sydney Road Street Party.

Tram service changes

Sunday 1 March, 1.45am to last tram

No Route 19 trams run between Stop 19 Brunswick Road and Stop 28 Moreland Road.

Buses replace Route 19 trams between Stop 19 Brunswick Road and a temporary stop on Peveril Street at the Brunswick Tram Depot.

Replacement buses divert around the event precinct via Lygon and Blyth streets.

Replacement buses

The following tram stops will not be serviced by the replacement buses:

• Stop 20 Barkly Square.
• Stop 21 Dawson Street.
• Stop 22 Albert Street.
• Stop 23 Victoria Street.

Follow at stop signage information to find your nearest alternative stop.

During this period, Route 19 trams and replacement buses run to a normal frequency, however, may not arrive at the scheduled time due to congestion in the event area. Please allow extra journey time.

Alternative travel options:

• Upfield line trains
• Route 1 and Route 6 trams along Lygon Street
