Tram service changes

  • Route 16 trams run between Melbourne University and Stop 30 St Kilda Junction and between Stop 32 Havelock St near Luna Park and Kew.
  • Route 96 trams run between East Brunswick and Stop 132 St Kilda Station.

Tram stops along Fitzroy Street, The Esplanade and Acland Street will be closed. Follow at stop signage information to find your nearest alternative stop.

Extra trams run for the event between 12pm and 11pm:

  • Route 12a between Stop 122 Southern Cross Station and St Kilda.
  • Route 16a between Stop 32 Havelock St near Luna Park and Stop 48 Hawthorn Rd.
  • Route 64a between Stop 8 Melbourne Central Station and Stop 30 St Kilda Junction.
  • Route 96a between Stop 122 Southern Cross Station and Stop 132 St Kilda Station.

Alternative travel options

  •  Bus 246 along Barkly Street to connect with trams at St Kilda.
  • Route 3 and Route 67 trams along St Kilda Road to connect at Carlisle Street with trams on Route 16.

All festival extra trams (Route 12a, 16a and 96a) are low-floor trams.

The last accessible stops are:

  • Stop 38 Balaclava Station (from Kew and East Malvern to St Kilda)
  • Stop 29 Union St/St Kilda Road (from Melbourne University to St Kilda)
  • Stop 143 Park Street (Route 12a terminus)
  • Stop 132 St Kilda Station (East Brunswick to St Kilda).
