South Yarra substation works - Stage 2

Monday 30 September to Sunday 6 October, first to last tram.

Reason for service changes

We're performing power upgrade works at South Yarra substation.

Tram service changes

• Route 58 trams run a shortened service between West Coburg and Stop 119 Wells Street.
• Buses replace Route 58 trams between Stop 119 Wells Street and Toorak.
• Buses replace Route 78 trams between North Richmond and Balaclava.

Replacement buses use existing tram stops or temporary bus stops where possible on St Kilda Road, Toorak Road or Church Street. Follow the orange signage for directions to the temporary stop.

Tram stop changes

The following tram stop will not be service by replacement buses:

Stop 20 Anzac Station

• Towards Toorak:  Tram Replacement buses depart at temporary bus stop on Park Street near Stop 119 Wells Street. 250m / 4min walk via Park Street. 
• Towards West Coburg: Trams depart from Stop 119 Wells Street. 250m / 4min walk via Park Street.

Accessibility

Tram replacement buses are low floor and run to normal frequency during works.
