Tram service changes

Tram service changes apply due to road closures for the Run Melbourne event in the city and Docklands.

Swanston Street and St Kilda Road 
First tram to 8.30am

• No Route 1 and Route 6 trams run between Stop 11 Collins St and
  Stop 14 Arts Precinct.
• No Route 3, 5, 16, 64, and 72 trams run between Stop 14 Arts Precinct and Stop 1 Melbourne University.
• No Route 67 trams run between Stop 11 Collins St and Stop 14 Arts Precinct (6.15am to 8.30am)

Take Route 1, 6 and 67 trams between Stop 11 Collins St and Stop 1 Melbourne University.

Flinders Street
3.30am to 11.30am

• No Route 75 trams run between Stop 13 Simpson St on Wellington Parade and Central Pier Docklands.
• No City Circle (Route 35) trams run (first tram to 11.30am).

Consider trains between Jolimont Station and the city or Route 48 trams from 9am as an alternative travel option.

First tram to 12.30pm

• No Route 70 trams run between Stop 7B Rod Laver Arena and Waterfront City Docklands.

Consider trains between Richmond Station and the city as an alternative travel option.

Bourke Street and Spencer Street
3.30am to 10.15am

No Route 96 trams run between Stop 124 Batman Park and Stop 125 Clarendon Street Junction.

William Street 
First tram to 10.15am

Route 58 trams run between:
- West Coburg and Stop 4 Collins St
- Stop 116 City Rd and Toorak

Collins Street and Spencer Street
First tram to 9am 

• No Route 11 trams run between Stop D15 Batman’s Hill and Victoria Harbour Docklands
• No Route 48 trams run between Stop 13 Simpson St on Wellington Parade and Victoria Harbour Docklands.

Consider trains between Jolimont Station and the city or Route 48 trams from 9am as an alternative travel option.

First tram to 10.15am

• No Route 12 trams run between Stop 124 Batman Park and Stop 130 Albert Rd.
• Buses replace trams on Route 12 between a temporary bus stop in Whiteman Street near the Casino and a temporary bus stop in Albert Street near Stop 130 Clarendon St.

Tram replacement buses use existing tram stops or temporary bus stops where possible, follow signage for directions to the temporary stops.

• No Route 109 trams run between Stop 125 Clarendon Street Junction and Stop 124 Batman Park.

The last accessible tram stops are:

- On Route 96 and 109 travelling towards the city: Stop 125 Clarendon St Junction 
- On Route 11: Stop D15 Batman’s Hill.
- On Route 12, 96 and 109 travelling from the city: Stop 124 Batman Park
- On Route 58 travelling from West Coburg: Stop 4 Collins St on William St 
- On Route 58 travelling from Toorak: Stop 116 City Rd on Kings Way
- On Route 1 and 6 travelling from Melbourne University: Stop 11 Collins St on Swanston Street
- On Route 3, 5, 6, 16 and 72 travelling towards Melbourne University: Stop 14 Arts Precinct on St Kilda Road
