Run for the Kids 2025

Tram service changes

The following tram service changes apply due to road closures in Docklands and the city associated with the Run for the Kids 2025 event.

2am to 6.30pm

• Route 75 trams run a shortened service between Vermont South and Stop 2 Melbourne Aquarium.
• Route 86 trams run a shortened service between Bundoora RMIT and Stop 1 Southern Cross Station.

5.30am to 1.30pm

• Route 96 and 109 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 124 Batman Park and Stop 1 Southern Cross Station.

First tram to 1.30pm

• Route 12 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 124 Batman Park and Stop 1 Southern Cross Station.
• Route 58 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 116 City Rd and Stop 4 Collins St.
• City Circle trams will not run.

First tram to 6.30pm

• Route 11  trams run a shortened service between West Preston and Stop 1 Southern Cross Station.
• Route 48 trams run a shortened service between North Balwyn and Stop 1 Southern Cross Station.
• Route 30 trams run a shortened service between St Vincent’s Plaza and Stop 1 Spencer St.
• Route 70 trams run a shortened service between Wattle Park and Stop 2 Melbourne Aquarium.

1.30pm to 6.30pm

• City Circle trams run a shortened service between Stop 1 Spencer St/ La Trobe St and Stop 2 Melbourne Aquarium via Spring Street.

Alternative travel options

• City Loop trains
• Route 1 trams between Clarendon Street and the city
• Route 16 trams between St Kilda and the city

Stop 1 Southern Cross Station/ Collins St (towards Parliament Station)

Stop 1 Flinders St/ Queensbridge St

Stop 115 Casino/ Southbank

Stop 116 City Rd (towards Toorak)
