Route 1 and 6 trams have resumed along their normal lines following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Tram service changes

Due to a broken-down truck blocking tracks in Lygon Street at Glenlyon Road

• Route 1 trams to South Melbourne Beach divert via Sydney Road/Royal Parade/Elizabeth Street/Victoria Street between Moreland Road and Stop 7 RMIT University.
• Route 6 trams to Glen Iris divert via Sydney Road/Royal Parade/Elizabeth Street/Victoria Street between Moreland Road and Stop 7 RMIT University.
• A limited Route 1 and 6 shuttle service runs between Stop 120 Brunswick Rd and Melbourne University.
• Expected impact to services: more than 1 hour

Alternative travel options

• Route 19 trams in Sydney Road or Route 96 trams in Nicholson Street
• Bus 250/251 on Lonsdale/Rathdowne Street
