We're continuing the upgrade to Route 82 track and infrastructure for the upcoming introduction of the Next Generation Tram.

Service Changes
Buses replace Route 82 trams between Footscray and Moonee Ponds, diverting around the work zone via Rosamond Road.
Tram Replacement Buses
Buses will service kerbside tram stops except for the following stops which will be temporarily
relocated outside the work zone or at an accessible point to the terminus.
- Stop 64 Irving Street & Leeds Street (terminus)
- Stop 54 Gordon Road
- Stop 53 Maribyrnong Secondary College
- Stop 52 River Street
- Stop 51 Highpoint Shopping Centre
- Stop 50 Williamson Road
- Stop 49 Waterford Avenue
- Stop 48 Raleigh Road
- Stop 46 Rosamond Road
- Stop 34 Maribyrnong Road (towards Footscray)
- Stop 32 Moonee Ponds Junction (terminus)
Follow wayfinding and at-stop signage for directions to the serviced stops.
Replacement buses run to a normal frequency during works however, there may be delays due to traffic congestion in the area
Alternative Travel
Passengers may consider the following local bus routes:
- Route 472 between Footscray and Moonee Ponds
- Route 409 between Footscray and Highpoint Shopping Centre.

Tram replacement buses are low-floor accessible depending on availability.
