Route 57/82 trams have resumed following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Service Changes

Due to a bridge strike in Racecourse Road at Stubbs Street

• Route 57 trams divert in both directions via Moonee Ponds along Mt Alexander Road between Stop 20 Melrose Street and Stop 37 Union Road.
• No Route 82 trams run between Stop 33 Chaucer Street and Moonee Ponds
• A limited bus replacement service runs between Stop 20 Melrose Street and Stop 37 Union Road, servicing existing stops where possible; bus replacements may take up to 45 minutes.

Alternative travel

• Upfield/Craigieburn Line trains 
• Bus 404 in Ascot Vale Road
• Bus 472 in Union Road

This disruption is expected to take some time to clear. Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
