Route 57 Disruption – Friday 21 February

Services resuming

Route 57 trams have resumed along their normal lines following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Service Changes

Due to a bridge strike in Racecourse Road

• Route 57 trams in both directions divert via Mt Alexander Road along Route 59 between Stop 20 Melrose Street and Stop 37 Union Road.
• Buses replace trams between Stop 20 Melrose Street and Stop 37 Union Road, servicing existing stops where possible.

Alternative travel

• Craigieburn line trains.
• Bus 472 on Francis Street to connect with diverting tram services on Ascot Vale Road.

This disruption is expected to take some time to clear. Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
