Route 48 and 75 Disruption – Wednesday 28 January

Services resuming

Route 48 and 75 trams have resumed along their normal lines following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Service Changes

Due to a collision in Bridge Road

• Route 48 trams to North Balwyn divert via Victoria Street/Barkers Road between Stop 8 Spring St and Stop 31 Stevenson St.
• Route 75 trams to Vermont South divert via Swan Street between Stop 6 Russell St and Stop 29 Riversdale Junction.
• Expected impact to services: over 30 minutes.

Alternative travel

• Route 78 trams on Church Street/Bus 246 on Hoddle Street to connect with diverting services. 

This disruption is expected to take some time to clear. Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
