Public Holiday - National Day of Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II
Thursday 22 September 2022
Service changes will apply to all trams on Thursday 22 September due to the National Day of Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II Public Holiday.
Service changes
Trams run to a Saturday frequency with no Night Network services.
This means that if your tram usually runs every seven minutes, it will continue to do so. However, times may differ slightly from the normal Saturday timetable, with last tram running approximately one hour earlier.
Trains and buses also run to special timetables. For details, visit ptv.vic.gov.au
From Wednesday 21 September to Saturday 24 September (inclusive) the Free Tram Zone will be extended to the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The additional stops included in the Extended Free Tram Zone are as follows:
- Stop 9 Lansdowne St - Route 48 and 75
- Stop 10 Jolimont Rd - Route 48 and 75
- Stop 11 Jolimont Station - Route 48 and 75
