Tram service changes

Buses replace trams on Route 109 between Stop 1 Southern Cross Station and Port Melbourne.

Tram stop changes

The following tram stops will not be serviced by replacement buses:

·         Stop 124 Batman Park (to Box Hill)

·         Stop 124a Casino/MCEC (to Port Melbourne)

·         Stop 125a Southbank Tram Depot

Tram replacement buses

To Port Melbourne: 

Buses travel via Spencer Street, Lonsdale Street, King Street, Flinders Lane, Spencer Street, Normanby Road, Williamstown Road, Raglan Street, Evans Street, Swallow Street, Princes Street and Waterfront Place. 

To Box Hill: 

Buses travel via Waterfront Place, Beach Street, Swallow Street, Evans Street, Ingles Street, Normanby Road and Spencer Street.

Follow at stop signage information to find your nearest replacement bus stop. 

Alternative travel options

• Route 12 trams between Stop 1 Southern Cross Station and Stop 124A Casino/MCEC.
• Route 96 trams between Stop 122 Southern Cross Station and Stop 125 Clarendon Street Junction.
• Bus 234 and Bus 236 between Port Melbourne and the city.

Accessibility 

Tram replacement buses are low floor and will service temporary bus stops along Route 109, where possible.
