We're performing track renewal works along Maribyrnong Road
Service changes
9pm 28 June to last tram Sunday 14 July
- Buses replace Route 57 trams between Stop 32 Sandown Road and
West Maribyrnong diverting around the work zone. - Route 57 trams run a shortened service between Stop 1 Flinders Street Station and Stop 32 Sandown Road.
- Buses replace Route 82 trams between Moonee Ponds and Highpoint via Footscray Market, diverting around the work zone.
9pm Saturday 13 July to last tram Sunday 14 July
- Buses replace Route 59 trams between Stop 27 Essendon Tram Depot and Airport West.
- Route 59 trams run a shortened service between Stop 1 Flinders Street Station and Stop 27 Essendon Tram Depot, due to works at Moonee Ponds Junction.

During these works tram replacement buses will travel in the opposite direction to usual tram services; this is due to the Maribyrnong Bridge closure.
Check signage at the stop and scan the QR code for the Busminder link to track your replacement bus.
Tram replacement buses will service temporary bus stops or existing PTV bus stops where possible and will run to a normal frequency during works.
Buses will travel northbound towards Highpoint and southbound towards Moonee Ponds via Footscray, detouring around the work zone.
Accessibility & Travellers Aid
Saturday 29 June to Sunday 14 July
A Travellers Aid minibus service runs every 30 minutes between:
- Moonee Ponds and Essendon train stations, connecting tram and
Route 468 bus passengers with train services. - Showgrounds Village and The Parade along Epsom and Union roads
Minibus hours:
Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 6.30pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
The Travellers Aid shuttle is a wheelchair accessible service at designated neighbourhood locations during the works period and is a free service for passengers with accessibility requirements.
For a taxi service between closed stops during service changes, passengers can call PTV on 1800 800 007 or speak to a customer service employee
