Kew Tram Depot.

Service changes

Sunday 2 June, first to last tram

Buses replace Route 78 trams between North Richmond and Balaclava.

1am to last tram

Route 109 runs in three sections between:

• Box Hill and Stop 29 Barkers Road
• Stop 24 Victoria Gardens and Stop 1 Southern Cross Station Street
• Stop 125 Clarendon Street Junction and Port Melbourne

No Route 109 trams run between Stop 1 Southern Cross Station Street and Stop 125 Clarendon Street Junction.

Buses replace Route 109 trams between Stop 31 Stevenson Street and Stop 24 Victoria Gardens, diverting around the work zone.

Closed tram stops

The following tram stops are closed and will not be serviced by replacement buses during works:

• Stop 124A Casino/MCEC (towards St Kilda)
• Stop 29 Barkers Road (towards Box Hill)
• Stop 37 Carlisle Street / Chapel Street

Alternative travel options

Towards Port Melbourne
Passengers may walk up to 14min/900m from Collins Street via Spencer Street to connect with Route 109 trams at Stop 125 Clarendon Street Junction.

Towards South Melbourne/St Kilda
Route 1 or Route 16 trams traveling along Swanston Street and St Kilda Road.

Route 58 trams along Williams Street to Casino/South Melbourne.
