Date and time

Sunday 29 March, first tram to 7.15pm.

Reason for service changes

Due to road closures on Glenferrie Road associated with the Glenferrie Festival.

Tram service changes

Route 16 trams run a shortened service between Melbourne University and Stop 71 Urquhart Street.

Buses replace Route 16 trams between Stop 71 Urquhart Street and Kew.

Replacement buses divert around the event precinct via Burwood Road, Auburn Road and Barkers Road.

Replacement buses

The following tram stops will not be serviced by the replacement buses:

• Stop 74 Glenferrie Station.
• Stop 75 Chrystobel Crescent / Liddiard Street.
• Stop 76 Johnson Street.

Follow at stop signage information to find your nearest alternative stop.

During this period, Route 16 trams and replacement buses run to a normal frequency, however, may not arrive at the scheduled time due to congestion in the event area. Please allow extra journey time.

Alternative travel options:

• Alamein, Belgrave or Lilydale line trains to / from Glenferrie Station.
