Droop Street upgrade works

We’re continuing the upgrade of Route 82 tracks and infrastructure for the introduction of our new next-generation G Class trams.
Date and time
From 10pm Friday 26 June to last tram Sunday 19 July.
Tram service changes
- Route 82 trams run between Moonee Ponds and Stop 52 River St.
- Buses replace trams on Route 82 between Stop 52 River St and Footscray diverting around the work zone.
Tram stop changes
The following trams stops will be closed during the works. Tram replacement buses will service existing local bus stops and temporary bus stops located outside the work zone, or at an accessible point to the terminus.

Accessibility
Tram replacement buses will be low floor, where possible, and run to the normal frequency during works.
