Services Resuming

• Route 57/82 trams have resumed following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Service Changes

Due to an accident in Racecourse Road.

• Route 57 trams in both directions divert via Mt Alexander Road (Moonee Ponds) between Stop 37 Union Road and Stop 20 Melrose Street.
• No Route 82 trams run between Stop 33 Chaucer Street and Moonee Ponds.

Alternative travel

• Upfield / Craigieburn  line trains.
• Bus 404 in Ascot Vale Road/ Bus 472 in Francis Street / Union Road.

A limited bus replacement service runs between Stop 37, Union Road and Stop 20, Melrose Street servicing existing stops where possible; bus replacements may take up to 45 minutes

This disruption is expected to take some time to clear. Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
