Services Resuming

Route 57/82 trams have resumed following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Service Changes

Due to an equipment fault in Epsom Road.

• Route 57 trams divert via Route 59 along Mt Alexander Road between Stop 37 Union Rd and Stop 20 Melrose St.
• No Route 82 trams run between Stop 33 Chaucer St and Moonee Ponds.

Expected impact to services: over 1 hour.

Alternative travel

• Craigieburn line trains 
• Bus 472 to connect with diverting tram services on Ascot Vale Rd. 

A limited bus replacement service runs between Stop 37 Union Rd and Stop 20 Melrose St servicing existing stops where possible; bus replacements may take up to 45 minutes.

This disruption is expected to take some time to clear. Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
