Services Resuming

• Route 5/78 trams have resumed following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Service Changes

Due to an emergency services request in Chapel Street at Dandenong Road.

• Route 5 trams in both directions divert via High Street/Glenferrie Road between Stop 27 High Street and Stop 45 Glenferrie Road.
• Route 78 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 50 Toorak Road and Stop 42 Dandenong Road.
• A limited Route 5a shuttle service runs between Stop 33 Hornby Street/Dandenong Road and Malvern.

Alternative travel

• Sandringham/Frankston line trains  
• Route 64 trams to East Brighton from Stop 33 Hornby Street/Dandenong Road
• Bus 603 on Williams Road
• Bus 604 on Orrong Road
• This disruption is expected to take some time to clear. Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
