Route 109 Disruption - Wednesday 11 September

Services Resuming

Route 109 trams have resumed following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Note: Due to a major event in the city. Service changes still apply to Route 109 trams.

Service Changes

Due to an equipment fault in Victoria Parade at Hoddle Street. 

• Route 109 trams divert via Bridge Road along Route 48 between Stop 8 Spring Street and Stop 29 Barkers Road.

Due to a major event in the city:

• Route 109 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 125 Clarendon Street Junction and Spencer Street.

Alternative travel

• Route 48 trams
• City cirle/Mernda/Hurstbridge Line trains at Stop 8 Spring Street to Parliament Station or Stop 19 North Richmond Staton to connect with diverting services
• Bus 246 on Hoddle Street. 

This disruption is expected to take some time to clear. Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
