City services have resumed following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Until 4pm, Route 3/64/67 trams continue to divert via Park Street/Kings Way/William Street and run to Stop 7 Flagstaff Station.

Service Changes

Flinders Street 

• Route 70 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 4 Flinders Street Station/Elizabeth Street and Stop 6 Russell Street.
• Route 75 trams divert via La Trobe Street/Spring Street between Stop D2 Central Pier and Stop 9 Lansdowne Street.

Collins Street

• Route 11/12/48/109 trams have resumed following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

La Trobe Street

• Route 30 trams are not running

Bourke Street

• Route 86/96 trams have resumed following an earlier disruption. Delays may occur as we restore the timetable.

Swanston Street

• Route 1 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 14 Arts Precinct and Stop 8 Melbourne Central
• Some Route 1 trams to East Coburg divert via Kings Way/William Street/La Trobe Street between Stop 22 Dorcas Street and Stop 7 RMIT University.
• Route 6 trams divert via Park Street/Kings Way/William Street/La Trobe Street between Stop 20 ANZAC Station and Stop 7 RMIT University.
• No Route 5/16/72 trams run between Stop 14 Arts Precinct and Melbourne University.
• Route 3/64/67 trams divert via Park Street/Kings Way/William Street and run to Stop 7 Flagstaff Station.

Service Changes

Planned service changes from 12:30pm to 4pm

• Route 3/64/67 trams will run between the south-eastern suburbs and Stop 7 Flagstaff Station diverting via Park Street, Kings Way and William Street.

If Gertrude Street/ Nicholson Street impacted.

• Route 86 trams divert via St Georges Road between Stop 42 Dundas Street and Stop 10 Parliament Station.

A limited Route 86 shuttle tram will run between Stop 42 Dundas Street and Stop 25 Clifton Hill Interchange.

• Route 96 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 18 Scotchmer Street and Stop 7 Russell Street.

If Swanston Street impacted

• Route 1 trams will run in sections with no trams between Stop 7 RMIT University and Stop 14 Arts Precinct.
• Route 6 trams will divert via Park Street/Kings Way/William Street/La Trobe Street between Stop 20 ANZAC Station and Stop 7 RMIT University.
• No Route 5/16/72 trams will run between the Stop 11 Collins Street and Melbourne University.

If La Trobe Street impacted

• Route 30 trams will not run.
• City Circle trams will run between Stop 4 Flinders Street Station and Docklands via Harbour Esplanade and Flinders Street.

If Bourke Street impacted

• Route 86/96 trams will divert via La Trobe Street between Spencer Street and Stop 11 Melbourne Museum.

Limited shuttle services will run as:

Route 86a between Stop 4 Queen Street and Waterfront City, Docklands.

If Flinders Street impacted

• Route 70 trams will run in sections with no trams between Stop 6 Russell Street and Stop 4 Flinders Street Station.
• Route 75 trams will divert via La Trobe Street between Stop 9 Lansdowne Street and Central Pier, Docklands.

If Collins Street impacted

• Route 11/48 trams run in sections with no trams between Stop 5 Elizabeth Street and Stop 7 101 Collins Street.
• Route 12/109 trams divert via La Trobe Street between Stop 12 St Vincents Plaza and Stop 124 Batman Park.
