Tram service changes

Route 5 trams run in sections between:

• Malvern and Stop 38 Orrong Road / Dandenong Road
• Stop 29 Union Street / St Kilda Road and Melbourne University.

Buses replace Route 5 trams between Stop 38 Orrong Road and Stop 29 Union Street.

Buses replace Route 78 trams between North Richmond and Balaclava, diverting around the work zone.

Closed tram stops

The following tram stops are closed and will not be serviced by replacement buses during works:

• Stop 31 Queens Way / Upton Road (Route 5)
• Stop 44 Duke Street / Chapel Street (Towards North Richmond)
• Stop 43 Windsor Station / Chapel Street (Towards North Richmond)

Alternative travel options

Route 5 passengers may consider trains between Malvern Station and
Flinders Street Station.
