Reason for service changes

Due to asphalting works on Bridge Road between Punt Road and Church Street.

Tram service changes

From 10pm Friday 10 April to last tram Sunday 12 April, no trams run along Wellington Parade and Bridge Road: 

• Route 48 trams divert via Victoria Street along Route 109 between Stop 29 Barkers Rd and Stop 8 Spring St.
• Buses replace Route 48 trams between a temporary bus stop near Stop 10 Parliament Station and Stop 29 Barkers Rd.
• Route 75 trams divert via Swan Street along Route 70 between Stop 29 Riversdale Junction and Stop 6 Russell St.
• Buses replace Route 75 trams between Stop 6 Russell St and Stop 31 Fordholm Rd in Riversdale Road.

Alternative travel option

• Trains between Jolimont Station and the city.
• Route 78 trams on Church Street to connect with diverting services.
• Bus 246 on Punt Road or Hoddle Street to connect with diverting services.

Accessibility

Tram replacement buses will be low floor, where possible, and run to the normal frequency during works, however, may not arrive at the scheduled time due to congestion in the works area.
