Route 1 trams run between:
- East Coburg and Stop 8 Melbourne Central Station
- South Melbourne Beach and Stop 17 Arts Precinct / Sturt St.
No Route 1 trams run between Stop 8 Melbourne Central Station and Stop 17 Arts Precinct / Sturt St.
Route 3, 64 and 67 trams run between the suburbs and Stop 7 Flagstaff Station, diverting via Park Street, Kings Way and William Street.
Route 5, 16 and 72 trams run between suburbs and Stop 17 Arts Precinct / Sturt St, diverting via Park Street and Kings Way.
Route 6 trams run between:
- Moreland and Stop 8 Melbourne Central Station
- Glen Iris and Stop 17 Arts Precinct / Sturt St, diverting via Park Street and Kings Way.
No Route 6 trams run between Stop 8 Melbourne Central Station and Stop 17 Arts Precinct / Sturt St.
Flinders Street
First tram to 1pm
Route 70 trams run between Wattle Park and Stop 6 Russell St.
Route 75 trams run between Vermont South and Stop 6 Russell St.
Route 35 (City Circle) trams run between Stop 2 Melbourne Aquarium and Stop 6 Russell St via Docklands, La Trobe and Spring streets.
Collins Street
First tram to 12.30pm
Route 11 trams run between West Preston and Stop 7 101 Collins St.
Route 48 trams run between North Balwyn and Stop 7 101 Collins St.
Route 12 and Route 109 trams divert via La Trobe Street between Stop 12 St Vincent’s Plaza and Stop 124 Batman Park.
Anzac Day March shuttle trams
Take shuttle trams or city loop train services for travel within the CBD.
Swanston Street shuttle trams run between Stop 1 Melbourne University and Stop 8 Melbourne Central Station.
Flinders Street shuttle trams run between Stop 2 Melbourne Aquarium and Waterfront City Docklands.
Collins Street shuttle trams run between Stop 5 Elizabeth St and Victoria Harbour Docklands.
Accessibility
For a taxi service between closed stops during service changes passengers can call PTV on 1800 800 007 or speak to a customer service employee.
Travellers Aid is available to assist passengers with accessibility needs.
A Minibus service runs between Stop 20 Anzac Station and Stop 19 Shrine of Remembrance from 5am to 5.30am and 6.30am to 1pm.
Additional information
Veterans and War Widows travel for free on Victoria’s public transport network from first service Thursday 24 April to last service Saturday 26 April.
Australian Defence Force members and Scouts, Guides and school students in uniform participating in Anzac Day activities can also travel for free on Anzac Day, 25 April
Trams run to a Saturday timetable due to the Anzac Day Public Holiday.
