Yarra Trams wins in two categories at the Global Light Rail Awards

Yarra Trams has taken out wins in TWO categories at the Global Light Rail Awards in London this week!

The project to design and install separation along the 1% of the network that experienced 15% of vehicle-vs-tram collisions (that’s sections of Collins, Bourke and Elizabeth) received a Highly Commended in the Project of the Year under EUR50m category.

And Scan for Your Tram, which rolled out real-time passenger information to over 1700 stops via location-specific QR codes, WON for Best Customer Initiative.

We are so proud of our people involved in these projects. Both of these initiatives were dreamed up in-house by Yarra Trams people committed to innovation and improving passenger experience.
