Yarra Riverkeepers tram enters the network

Our first Yarra Trams Community Partner tram of 2023 has entered the network!
 
We’re proud to be partnering with Yarra Riverkeeper Association to highlight the important work they’re doing to protect the Yarra River and promote its importance to Melbourne’s natural environment.
 
Their tram, which can be seen on routes 48 and 109, will encourage Melburnians to become a Riverkeeper and volunteer their time to promote a healthy river system.

The theme for the Yarra Trams Community Partnerships Program 2023 is ‘Building a Resilient and Sustainable Melbourne’, with participants supporting Victoria’s natural environment, as well as organisations working to improve employment security of disadvantaged and at-risk communities.
 
We can’t wait to see the beautiful YRKA tram out in its natural environment, the world’s largest tram network.
