September performance results
Friday 10 October 2014
Yarra Trams continues to perform strongly, with significant improvements to service delivery and punctuality in September.
East Preston's Routes 11 and 86 had their best punctuality so far in 2014, with punctuality of 91.45 per cent and 88.86 per cent respectively.
Malvern lines achieved their highest September punctuality in five years, and punctuality on Camberwell lines improved by three percentage points compared to September last year.
We have recently introduced a new driver development program which focuses on safety, punctuality and customer service. This is already having a positive effect on driver performance.
Tram improvement work is taking place around the network, to provide safer, more comfortable services with greater efficiency across our lines.
We also continue to plan for the cascade of low-floor trams onto other routes as more E-Class trams join Route 96.
Network service delivery was 99.31 per cent and punctuality 85.95 per cent.
