The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) has advised footy fans attending this week's AFL matches at the MCG to take public transport where possible.

Recent bad weather has impacted on parking at the ground, and spaces will be restricted for the three matches this weekend.

- Friday August 6 - Essendon vs Carlton, 7.40pm
- Saturday August 7 - Geelong vs Collingwood, 7.10pm
- Sunday August 8 - Melbourne vs Richmond, 2.10pm

To avoid missing any of the match, especially with more than 90,000 fans expected to attend the Saturday night game, avoid traffic by leaving the car at home and catching a tram to the ground instead. Yarra Trams will be operating regular shuttle services to the MCG from stops along Flinders Street.
