February 2018 performance results

Yarra Trams delivered 98.7 per cent of services in February with 81.7 per cent of services arriving on time.

Trams share the city's roads and traffic congestion is a leading factor affecting tram performance. This is why we continue to work closely with our on-road partners including VicRoads to find ways to make journey times more reliable. Yarra Trams manages the network in real-time to adjust to the road conditions and help people to safely get to where they want to go.

During February Yarra Trams successfully delivered two new platform stops in Park Street, South Melbourne. The new stops improve safety and accessibility on Route 58, and are part of a series of projects that will help enable construction of the new Anzac station, being built in the Domain precinct as part of the Metro Tunnel project.

Extra services were provided for a number of special events in February, including White Night and St Kilda Festival.
