Enable IT is on a mission to tackle disadvantage and the digital divide. Their distinctive tram calls on Melburnians to “give their tech a new home” by donating unused laptops, phones and tablets for refurbishment or on selling for a cause.
Since 2014, Enable has supported over 1,000 participants with employability skills, diverted 267 tonnes of decommissioned technology from landfill for reuse and recycling, and distributed over 600 affordable computer devices through 65 fellow community-based organisations.
