  • Go to Current Vacancies on our website
  • Search for roles that interest you in the 'Job Search' function (top left corner)
  • Click 'Send me jobs like these' and enter your email address

Can I submit my CV for future vacancies?

Sorry, due to the volume of applications we receive, we do not accept speculative applications.

I’m interested in an advertised position. How do I get a copy of the position description?

Read the position descriptions for trainee drivers and authorised officers. We’ll send you the position description for all other jobs.

I answered a question incorrectly on my application and received an email saying I’m ineligible to apply. What do I do?

Some answers you give automatically make you ineligible to apply. If you selected a wrong answer and are locked out, email careers@yarratrams.com.au

I started an application but I didn’t complete it before closing date. How do I access it now to complete it?

We send reminder emails about incomplete applications to prompt you to complete your application before the closing date. If you didn’t complete your application before the closing date, you are now unable to apply.

How long before I get a response to my application?

Due to the number of applications we receive, the recruitment process can take several weeks. Please be assured, we will contact you as quickly as possible. All applicants, whether successful or not, will receive email notification of the outcome of their application. Thanks for your patience.

A job I previously applied for is being readvertised. Can I apply for it again?

You must wait 12 months before reapplying for a position.

I’ve been invited to attend an assessment centre but there are no spots available. What do I do?

Occasionally, for logistical reasons, we need to make adjustments to our planned schedule. Please check your account regularly for availability updates.

I booked into an assessment centre/interview but can no longer attend. What do I do?

Please cancel your appointment via your account as soon as possible. If you would like to reschedule, email careers@yarratrams.com.au

I applied online for a Vicroads Demerit Points check but won’t receive it for approximately 10 days. What do I do?

You can obtain one over the counter at your local VicRoads office.

I’m running late for my interview. Who do I call?

We have a busy schedule to maintain so it's important to be on time for your interview. However, if you’re running late, phone our receptionist as soon as possible on 03 9619 3200.

I have completed the interview. Now what?

Generally, the interviewing manager reviews all interviews. If you’re unsuccessful, you’ll receive an email advising you of that outcome. If you’re successful, a member of the recruitment team will be in touch with further instructions, particularly related to an additional interview or background checks (national police check, medical test, references, etc).

I received an email advising me my application was unsuccessful. How can I get more feedback?

Call the Advisor, Resourcing dealing with your appointment. If you don’t have their contact details, email careers@yarratrams.com.au
