British Film Festival 2023
The last of the Palace Cinemas International Film Festivals for 2023 kicks off with an amazing opening night film, One Life starring the amazing Sir Anthony Hopkins.
The 2023 Cunard British Film Festival returns in November with the finest British film making, production and acting, including many of Britain’s most enduring and well-known faces. Think big names like Helen Mirren, Emma Thompson, Maggie Smith, Helena Bonham Carter, Glenda Jackson, Olivia Colman, Sir Ian McKellen and more.
This edition of the Festival will screen nationally in Australia from November 1 - 29.

How to get there:
For sessions at the Astor Theatre, take Routes 5 or 64 to Stop 32 Chapel Street or Route 78 to Stop 42 Dandenong Road.
For sessions at Palace Balwyn, take Route 109 trams to Stop 46 Balwyn Cinema.
For sessions at Palace Brighton Bay, the nearest tram stop is Stop 68 Nepean Highway at the southern terminus of Route 64 in East Brighton, however we recommend you take a Sandringham Line train to Middle Brighton station.
For sessions at Palace Cinema Como, take Route 58 trams to Stop 128 Chapel Street, or Route 78 trams to Stop 50 Toorak Road.
For sessions at Kino Cinemas, take any Collins Street tram to Stop 8 Spring Street.
For sessions at Palace Pentridge, take Route 19 trams to Stop 36 Rogers Street.
