Coronavirus (COVID-19) and tram travel

Yarra Trams are working closely with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), other health agencies and transport operators, to actively prepare for potential impacts of coronavirus disease on Melbourne's tram network. 

If you suspect you may have the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), please call the dedicated hotline on 1800 675 398. Please keep Triple Zero (000) for emergencies only.

Tram service changes

Following the recent government recommendations, special event services may be cancelled at short notice. Always plan your journey before you travel. Use the tramTRACKER app or follow us on Twitter for the most up-to-date information on tram service changes. 

Travelling on the network  

We encourage everyone to practice good hygiene when travelling on public transport.

Isolate yourself at home and avoid travelling on public transport if you feel sick.
