Network upgrade work in July 2015 saw a dip in both service delivery and punctuality, with 99.23 per cent of timetabled services delivered and 84.02 per cent of these services arriving on time.
Work to upgrade platform stops on Flinders Street and St Kilda Road, and the completion of the Blyth Street terminus affected performance this month, but will deliver long-term benefits.
Despite these projects, Southbank lines recorded a 2.57 percentage point increase in punctuality, and a 0.11 percentage point boost in service delivery compared with July 2014.
