January 2015 performance results

Yarra Trams delivered 83.73 per cent of trams on time, with a service delivery of 99.15 in January 2015.
While service delivery improved by 1.64 percentage points compared to the same period last year, we recorded a 0.55 percentage point decrease in punctuality.
Major events across the network in January affected services, including the closure of the intersection of Flinders and Spencer streets during the construction of the new platform stop at Batman Park, as part of the Premium Line 96 project.
We also operated to a summer timetable in January, that reflects changes to traffic conditions at this time of year.
Camberwell Lines enjoyed a punctuality improvement of over six percentage points compared to the same time last year. This was achieved while operating extra trams during the two weeks of the Australian Open. We have our drivers to thank in large part for the success of the event.
Route 11 continues to be a star performer, recording some of the best results network wide. It has had a great start to the year with a further increase in larger capacity vehicles.
January also marked the start of the Free Tram Zone.
