January 2014 performance results
Friday 7 February 2014
Extreme hot weather from 14 to 17 January significantly affected performance during the month. If the average result of the previous four years had been achieved during this time Yarra Trams would have achieved a 99.25 per cent service delivery figure the month.
Yarra Trams failed to meet service delivery targets agreed in its contract with the Victorian government during January. This is the first time since Keolis Downer began operating the system in November 2009 that either punctuality or service delivery targets have not been met.
The monthly punctuality figure was more than seven percentage points higher than the service level guarantee.
