Domain Interchange update - March 2013
Friday 1 March 2013
Domain Interchange will soon have a new look, with major redevelopments over the Easter holidays set to turn it into Melbourne's latest accessible stop.
This important upgrade will facilitate improved and safer access to tram services for passengers, with the addition of two, double-sided, level access platforms and a dedicated tram track for the Route 8 service into Domain Road. Other improvements include additional pedestrian crossings and new dedicated bicycle lanes on St Kilda Road.
Tram service changes will be in place from first tram Friday 29 March to last tram Thursday 11 April.
A letter has been distributed to local residents and traders detailing the works schedule and tram service changes.
