Service changes will affect some CBD trams on Monday 13 March
from first tram to 2pm due to a public event.
Affected trams will operate with an 'a' alongside their route
number to reflect changes.
Tram replacement buses will operate between Stop 21 Bowen Cres
and Toorak. Tram stops in Park St & Domain Rd will not be
Until 9.30am: Route 8 trams will operate
between Moreland and Stop 13 Flinders St Station. Passengers can
use any tram except Route 1 to connect.
9.30am to 2pm:Route 8 trams
will operate between Moreland and Stop 14 Arts Precinct. Passengers
can use diverting Route 5, 6, 16, or
72 trams from Stop 18 Grant St to connect.
Route 1 trams will operate in sections with no
trams between Stop 14 Arts Precinct and Stop 18 Grant St.
Passengers can walk approximately 800 metres or a 10 minute walk to
connect between the sections.
Route 3a, 64 and 67
trams will operate between the suburbs and Queen Victoria Market
diverting via Park St, Kings Way, and William St along
Route 55. Swanston St passengers can connect using
trams along Flinders St, Collins St, Bourke St or La Trobe St.
Route 5, 6, 16 and 72 trams
will operate between the suburbs and Stop 18 Grant St at Southbank
Blvd, diverting via Park St, Kings Way and Sturt St.
Route 55 trams will operate between West Coburg
and Stop 114 City Rd. Passengers between Domain Interchange and
City Rd can use diverting Route 3a, 64 or
67 trams to connect.
Extra trams will operate along Swanston St between Stop 1
Melbourne University and Stop 14 Arts Precinct at a 6 minute
