Yarra Trams continues to perform strongly, with significant
improvements to service delivery and punctuality in
East Preston's Routes 11 and 86 had their best punctuality so
far in 2014, with punctuality of 91.45 per cent and 88.86 per cent
Malvern lines achieved their highest September punctuality in
five years, and punctuality on Camberwell lines improved by three
percentage points compared to September last year.
We have recently introduced a new driver development program
which focuses on safety, punctuality and customer service. This is
already having a positive effect on driver performance.
Tram improvement work is taking place around the network, to
provide safer, more comfortable services with greater efficiency
across our lines.
We also continue to plan for the cascade of low-floor trams onto
other routes as more E-Class trams join Route 96.
Network service delivery was 99.31 per cent and punctuality
85.95 per cent.
