Lights, Camera, TRACKtion- Melbourne Short films competition

Melbourne loves its trams, and its films! In association with the Melbourne International Film Festival, Yarra Trams presented the Lights, Camera, TRACKtion - Melbourne Short films competition.

The top eleven films were screened in front of a full house at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, you can view the films at the links below.

The 'People's Choice Awards' have now closed. The winning film will be displayed on this page shortly as well as the winner of the $500 shopping spree at Harbour Town Shopping Centre Docklands.

Teddy"Teddy's Bonza Day" by Georgia Biggs and Leda Scott Ruby leaves her teddy on a tram. He enjoys an afternoon of freedom at Luna Park before Ruby finds him in lost property.
Can you spare me a dollar?"Could You Spare a Dollar?" by David J Reid A homeless man goes about his daily routine of asking people for money to survive.
Miss me "Miss Me" by Cesar Salmeron A girl is intrigued by an instant connection with a boy she meets on a tram. Seconds before he gets off, she bravely writes a 4 digit number on the back of his hand. Will he go out of his way to try and meet her again?
