All entries are subject to the conditions of entry set out below.

Conditions of Entry

1. Entry instructions form part of these conditions.

2. Entry is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: (i) are not employees of the Promoter or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Competition; and (ii) are not a spouse, de facto spouse, partner, parent, or natural or adopted child or sibling of such an employee.

3. A maximum of one entry per question (relating to a particular Did You Know? card in the series of 10) from an Eligible Entrant is permitted.

4. This competition is a game of skill in which chance plays no part in determining the winners.

5. The competition period commences at 12.01am AEST on 10/06/2008 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on 20/09/2008 ("Entry Period") according to the following schedule:

6. Each Eligible Entrant’s entry will be judged based on the creativity and credibility of the answer to the question provided by Yarra Trams for each of the 10 editions of the Did You Know? cards.

7. Each of the Eligible Entrants who submits a valid entry that is judged according to those criteria to be the best will win the following:

(i) A 16GB Apple iPod Touch valued at $499 (rrp)
(ii) A monthly Metcard valued at $104.40 rrp

There are 10 prize packs on offer (one for each of the entry periods relating to the series of 10 cards.)
8. The total value of the prize pool is $6,034.

9. The prize includes delivery to the address specified in the winner's entry.

10. The winners will be notified by email and/or telephone.

11. The judge’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

12. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

13. If any prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter will, in its absolute discretion, substitute alternative goods or services of no lesser retail value and/or specification. The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by an Eligible Entrant or any third party if any prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason.

14. Each winning entrant consents to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of them) in any media at any time or times without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition, the Promoter and/or any of the Promoter's products.

15. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) whatsoever which is suffered or incurred by any entrant arising out of, or in any way connected with, the competition or prizes, including: (i) any indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from any negligent act or omission of any of the Relevant Parties; (iii) any liability for personal injury or death.

16. Entrants' personal information will be collected by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable it to administer and promote the Competition and, if an entrant consents, may be used to market its products to the entrant and for market research. The personal information of each winner may be provided to others assisting in the conduct of the Competition, including the Competition administrator, prize suppliers and deliverers, and to regulatory authorities. Persons may contact the Promoter by calling the toll free number 1800 800 166 to request access to, or corrections of, any of their collected personal information that is held by the Promoter. If an entrant does not provide accurate personal information the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win a prize.

17. If for any reason the conduct or operation of the competition is interfered with or disrupted in any way (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, bugs, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend or recommence the competition.

18. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failures, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration or non-receipt of Eligible Entrant’s communications. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions (such as problems with telephone networks or lines, computer systems or software or internet service providers) or any failure of any communication to be received by the Promoter (whether as a result of technical problems or traffic congestion on any carrier network).

19. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR THE INFORMATION ON A WEBSITE, OR TO OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS COMPETITION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, WHETHER SUCCESSFUL OR NOT, THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
