tramTRACKER Marilyn (2009)

As part of the Melbourne International Film Festival Yarra Trams introduced a unique take one of the most iconic cinematic moments of the 20th century, the scene from the 1955 film "The Seven Year Itch".

tramTRACKER cinema commercial (2008)

Our tramTRACKER coffee commercial screened in cinemas near tram routes to show how tramTRACKER provides real-time tram arrival information. It means you can spend less time at the tram stop and more time doing the things you love... like enjoying another latte at your favourite coffee shop.

Generations (2007)

Our TV commercial "Generations" went to air from 20 August 2007. It featured a talented cast of primary school children who explained to their teacher how they would help Melbourne's environment. One little girl, Tegan, impressed the class with her knowledge of the benefits of tram travel.

"Why do you catch the tram?" (2007)

The Why Tram? campaign promoted the environmental benefits of tram travel. The commercial mixed the travelling public with some popular media and sporting personalities sharing their thoughts on why trams are important to them, and to Melbourne.

100 Years of Electric Trams (2006)

This Yarra Trams cinema commercial, celebrating 100 years of electric trams in Melbourne, screened during the 2006 Melbourne International Film Festival.

Low floor trams teaser commercial (2001)

This commercial went to air in 2001 as Yarra Trams took delivery of its first low floor "Citadis" trams. These trams, made by Alstom (France) were introduced to the Melbourne tram network on 15 October 2001. The Citadis trams initially operated exclusively on Route 109. Combined with platform stops, the low floor trams helped launch a new era in accessible tram travel for Melbourne.

Citizen Tram (1960's)

Film made in the 1960s by the Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways Board by Crawford Productions to reinforce the importance of trams in reducing congestion on Melbourne's roads.
